Data stored on your device
CaffOut stores drink records, caffeine settings, app preferences, optional saved places, and custom Stamp image files in the app's private storage on your device. This information is used only to provide the app's features.
Deleting a photo check-in removes its associated Stamp and locally stored image files. Uninstalling CaffOut removes the remaining data in the app container, subject to device backups and Apple services.
Photos and camera
CaffOut accesses the camera or photo library only when you choose to take or select a photo. Foreground extraction and Stamp creation run on the device. The developer does not receive your photos.
Location
Location access is optional. When you grant permission, Apple Maps services may suggest nearby places. CaffOut saves a coordinate locally only when you explicitly choose a suggested place for a check-in. Basic drink logging works without location access.
Purchases
The optional Unlimited Stamps purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment and purchase history. CaffOut checks Apple-provided purchase entitlements to unlock or restore the feature; the developer does not receive your complete payment-card details.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
CaffOut does not include third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
